I love the solid feel of a Waechtersbach mug for my morning coffee! I was lucky enough to live in Germany with my folks several years back, and we used to frequent the Waechtersbach factory outlet. I still have about 8 Waechtersbach mugs in different patterns, and I don't use anything else. They have a nice weight, keep in the heat well, and hold a lot of coffee! The only thing you need to be careful with is microwaving. On the Christmas mugs the red glaze will get very hot and eventually start to crack if you microwave them. Enjoy!
